Construction Trades English provides online English language classes and content for the Construction and related industries.

Denis has 40-plus years experience in the building trades and related fields.

His experience includes serving as a Punch-List Coordinator for a Moshe Safdie designed 206-unit luxury condo building, as a Maintenance Manager for a regional historical and preservation society that owned and managed significant properties, and as a Project Manager for the renovation of residential properties.

He has worked on a wide variety of projects, and on a wide variety of properties ranging from 17th-century historic-homes to 21st-century modern structures.

He has coordinated and worked on projects with many of the skilled trades and with contractors including architects, archeologists, conservators, historians, interior decorators, electricians, plumbers, HVAC, painters, specialty services, and landscapers.

And he has been on over 700 sales calls.

"I know the importance of clear communication with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and all others involved in any construction project, large or small. The size and scope of projects may differ, but the importance of proper communication at the worksite cannot be taken lightly. By offering your employees English classes you will help them to not only execute and complete the tasks you rely on them to complete, but you will also help them to lead fuller and richer lives!"

Denis Wogan is the founder and director of ESL Cambridge ®. He has an undergraduate degree (ALB) from Harvard University, a 120-Hour TEFL Certificate from The Boston Academy of  English, and a M.Ed. from Cambridge College with a concentration in teaching English as a Second Language.

His graduate projects at Cambridge College were focused on Workplace English. His final Independent Learning Project (ILP) is titled The American Job Interview: A Guide For ESL Teachers and English Language Learners. This guide is a course of study and lesson planning for instructing English Language Learners (ELLs) on how to prepare for and navigate their way through a job interview.

Denis has taught English language skills to hundreds of adults from more than 90 countries and as many language backgrounds. He has taught in a variety of settings including the Framingham State University Continuing Education English Language Program, The Cambridge Center for Adult  Education, OISE Boston, corporate environments, and with private clients.

Denis is a Professional Level member of the TESOL International Association.
